January 21, 2009 Meeting Minutes Members present: Munsey, Long, Kraycs, Wright, Olson, Brooks Members absent: Monica Ashton Others present: Dan Sanderson, Gaila Gilliland, John Wotring, Steve Sendek Dec. 17 meeting minutes will be forwarded for approval at the Feb. meeting. 1. Dec. Treasurer's report was accepted and placed on file. 2. Gaila Gilliland spoke about the traffic study for N. Down River Rd. interchange. 3. Motion by Kraycs seconded by Olson 4. That the Grayling Twp. Board support the recommendation by CCEDP for a full exchange at N. Down River Rd. All Ayes, motion carried 5. Motion by Brooks, second by Long to extend the recycling deadline for the county until the end of February. All Ayes, motion carried. 6. Proposed committees for 2009-2010 were introduced and will be discussed at the budget workshop on Feb. 10. 7. Budget workshop set for February 10, 2009 at 10:00 am. 8. Motion by Brooks, second by Munsey that we except the Fire Protection agreement between the City of Grayling and Grayling Charter Township as presented by the City dated January 6, 2009. Munsey yes, Long yes, Kraycs yes, Wright no, Ashton absent, Olson no, Brooks yes. 9. Motion carried. 10. Motion by Kraycs, second by Brooks to pay the bills. All Ayes, motion carried. 11.
