GRAYLING TOWNSHIP BOARD

SPECIAL MEETING

FEBRUARY 27, 2007

10:00 A.M

Members Present: Dennis Long, Ruth O’Mara, Monica Ashton, Terry Wright

Members Absent: Shawn Kraycs

Others Present: Ed Holtcamp; Beaver Creek, Nicole Devriendt: KCC Intern, William Parker; Attorney for MTPP.

Meeting called to order by Supervisor Wright at 10: 00 a.m. The purpose of the meeting is discussion of pending litigation and the need for formation of a Fire Board of Appeals.

Motion by Long, second by Ashton, to recess special meeting and go into executive session regarding pending litigation. Ayes; four, Nays; none, Absent; one. Motion carried.

Consensus that all present could attend the executive session but were cautioned that matters discussed were confidential outside this meeting.

Motion by Long, second by O’Mara, to close executive session and return to regular session. (11:00 a.m.) Ayes; four, Nays; none, Absent; one. Motion carried.

Motion by Long, second by O’Mara, instructing the Supervisor to make arrangements for establishing a Fire Board of Appeals concurrent with the Fire Code. Establishment costs not to exceed $500.00, with the appellant bearing the cost for convening of the Fire Board of Appeals on an established fee basis. Ayes; four, Nays; none, Absent; one.
